HMS Host, Saskatoon (formerly CARA Operations)

The members of Cara Foods at the Saskatoon Airport location ratified a new three year Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Highlights of the Agreement included:
Increases to the pay scales of 6.5% to 8% over the term of the contract
Improvements to vacation and relief pay
A two week work schedule A personal harassment clause.
Congratulations to this unit on their new Collective Agreement. Negotiation Committee member William Kraft was assisted by Secretary Treasurer Norm Neault in reaching this Agreement.
After the Agreement was reached, Cara Foods was sold to HMS Host, who will be operating the food services at this airport. The current Collective Agreement reached for these members will remain in effect.

This Agreement expired on May 18, 2006. The union has served notice to bargain and has offered bargaining dates to the employer. So far, no dates have been agreed upon.

This Agreement expires on May 18, 2006. At a membership meeting in early April, members selected a Negotiating Committee and started to gather contract proposals.
