Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, Regina

The members at Pepsi in Regina ratified a new three-year Collective Agreement on November 20.  Highlights include:

  • Improvements to clothing, safety footwear and meal allowances.

  • Inside and outside workers are not to be treated equally.

  • Parity in compensation for city and rural drivers.

  • Commission sales positions have been converted to hourly wage rates and are now subject to over-time provisions.

  • Over-time hours can now be “banked”.

  • Improvements to the “on call” rates.

  • Increases each year of the Agreement of 50, 55 and 65˘ per hour, respectively.

Congratulations to these members on their settlement. The Bargaining Committee consisted of Dave Lapierre, Rob Langford, and Jim Weichel, assisted by President Paul Meinema and Representative Glenn Stewart.
