These agreements (Salvation Army NRO Stores, Saskatoon & Regina) will be up for renewal soon. Members are in the process of preparing contract proposals, selecting their bargaining committees and setting dates to begin negotiations.

Salvation Army Waterston Centre, Regina Ratifies Contract January, 2008
The members at this location have ratified a three year Collective Agreement on January 24, 2008. The Salvation Army was interested in bargaining early; the contract would have expired on March 31, 2008. As a result of early bargaining, the first wage increase will also be provided early to these members.
Highlights of the settlement include:

3% increases effective March 1, 2008 rather than April 1/08

further 3% increases on March 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010

an improved premium for the Journeyman cook classification
-
improved bereavement leave
-
the addition of Family Day to the Statutory Holidays
-
significant improvements to annual vacations
