    April 2006

XL Foods, Moose Jaw - The company had attempted to red-circle a number of members’ rates, one in the production area, the others in maintenance, resulting in no wage progression for the affected members when it was due. The union has now resolved this issue, with the affected members receiving the back pay owed to them.

XL Foods — Settlements made by the union regarding lost wages have resulted in $740 being returned to 34 members. Steps have also been taken to ensure that wage progression increases will be received on the proper dates in the future. If you do not receive your increase on time, please contact a Shop Steward.
